6. Eating in Georgestown.
a. The Georgestown Café and Bookshelf are open 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday, and from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. 73 Hayward Avenue, 709-579-7134.

b. The Georgestown Bakery, 60 Hayward Avenue, is open from Tuesday until Friday, from 7:00 until 5:30 p.m., and on Saturday from 7:00 until 3:00. Bagels, baguettes, breads of many varieties as well as sweets! 753-8099.

c. The Hungry Heart Café,142 Military Road, 738-6164. The cafe is open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Closed on Saturday and Sunday.

d. The Rooms Café. 9 Bonaventure Avenue.
i. Opening hours. Monday CLOSED; Tuesday 10 am – 5 pm; Wednesday 10 am – 9 pm; Thursday 10 am – 5 pm; Friday 10 am – 10 pm (Archives close at 5); Saturday 10 am – 5 pm; and Sunday Noon – 5 pm (Archives closed)
Afternoon Tea is back at the Rooms Café on Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. A selection of fine teas, sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and preserves, pastries and sweets. Call 757-8097 to reserve your seating.
