Special thank-you:
Janice Brien and her friend Cathy cleaned out the neighbourhood garden at the corner of Maxse Street and Monkstown Road a few weeks ago. Mary Brien lived for many years on Maxse Street, and it was her son John and his wife Janice who placed the bench with the plaque to the memory of his mother in this space where his mother used to sit there. Other neighbourhood residents started the garden, but Janice and John clean it up every spring. This year was a major overhaul, and the Georgestown Neighbourhood Association would like to express our most sincere appreciation.
